Artie 3000 – the smartest robot drawing tool on the block!
Artie 3000 is a wonderful robot – great to get children right to the heart of coding activities through something that they really want to do – create really great drawings. Presented in a really cute format, Artie will hold a pen and react to instructions to create drawings. You can draw pre-programmed shapes, use simple buttons to make him move around a page or interact with a range of coding programmes such as Scratch and Python to create a sequence for Artie to follow.
The robot is Wi-Fi enabled and therefore can connect with your local PC and the quick start programme will get you going and coding right away. With four slim felt-tips, Artie will draw and you can programme controls such as ‘pen up’ and ‘pen down’ to create your own drawings. Or just explore and play – definitely the first step in your coding journey.
We have looked at so many robots on the market, but Artie 3000 really feels like there is the right combination of fun, art and coding to make it a fun activity as well as a learning one. Very exciting! Have a look at this video:
