A real model Cessna 180 Plane – made with old fashioned techniques – bring back a memory and share it with someone new.
This is a classic – a balsa wood plane with rubber band propulsion that requires careful building to enable it to fly. Start by laying out the wing plan on the tissue paper and attaching with glue before assembly the plane. Wind the propeller 100 times and then launch into the wind. You can also adjust the plasticine on the nose cone to get different effects on the flight path.
With a bit of care and attention, you can build a perfect model that will really fly. Just how far can you make it go?
- There are simple instructions and everything you need
- The planes fly really well – you just have to get the technique right
- The whole family will want to join in
