Description
A Medieval Catapult – take over a fortress and win the day.
Catapults were ancient and medieval weapons that were used to lay siege to castles and capture towns. They use the force of a lever and the torsion power of twisted rope to hurl rocks at fortress walls! This historically accurate model recreates the action of the medieval catapult providing hours of engaging fun.
With excellent step by step instructions, this kit is easy to build and really works – capable of hurling a soft modelling ball of clay over 4 metres (it also works particularly well with a Brussels Sprout!). Everything you need is well engineered and explained, with just scissors required to make the working model.
- The catapult really works
- The instructions are well paced – they will be able to do it themselves
- They can investigate just how it works
