Weather Watch – look out the window and see what is happening.

This is a wonderful addition to any household – a daily activity for you to do together that will help them feel part of the world around them. The beautiful board allows you to record, and predict, what the weather is like. There are so many elements to consider – a slider shows how hot it is, another one how wet. There are wooden pictures of the seasons to show which you are in and a spinner to move round when it it is time to change. There are phases of the moon to go through, complete with wolf who is howling at it, and magnetic weather symbols to add to the board to show what was happening yesterday, today and what might happen tomorrow, all in a draw string bag.

Our favourite feature is the wind guage – the hat blows off the man and can be taken away on the breeze or whipped off by a strong wind.

The whole piece is really charming and the activity is a great one for all children. Made from sustainable rubber wood from Indonesia, this is a toy that will last and last and make a real difference to your daily activities. One of our absolute favourites.
